Main Payette

I was lucky enough to make it back out on the river this last week.  This time I rafted the main Payette River with my friends the Grigg family and one of the kids friends.  

The weather was perfect, the water felt great and I loved every second of it!!  It was smoky from the fires that have been going on but down on the river it wasn’t bad at all.   

I know I say this a lot but being on the river has been my saving grace this summer, it is one of the few times I don’t feel stressed.   This trip was no different and was such a perfect way to unwind and relax.

I loved being able to catch up with everyone and just love this family!!  I am lucky enough to be able to work with Mike and he is an amazing example to me of what a good guy looks like.  

Kim is easy to talk to and I always have fun catching up with her.  

They are doing an amazing job raising their kids.  They are some of the most respectful, polite, fun to be with teenagers I have ever been around.  It is fun to watch them grown and mature.   I also loved seeing how Mike explained and taught Ty how to do things while I was with them; it was really cool to watch!  

I only wish I was able to see all of them more!  

I can’t believe how fast this summer is coming to a close.   I am hoping to make it out on the river one more time, fingers crossed!
