Blood

Yesterday I was able to donate blood.  It marked the 19^th time I have donated!!  I love being able to donate and knowing that I am helping someone somewhere who really needs it.  I think the whole process is just cool and I always like seeing how fast I can donate (this time it was 4:49).  Right now they are having what they call a blood emergency where supplies are critically low.  Not only is summer trauma session but they are now dealing with the threat of Zika virus.  According to Red Cross every 2 second someone in the U.S. needs blood.  It is estimated that 38% of the U.S. population is eligible to donte blood at any given time, of those only 10% actually donate.  So if can donate go do it, you never know who’s life you may help!
