Thor is 1!

On March 24th Thor turned a year old!  It is crazy how fast he has grown and it just seems like yesterday I was holding him for the first time.  He didn’t stay little long and now is a big, strong boy.  It has been fun to watch him grown and change.  One of my favorite things I decided to do was take a picture of him and my friend Jeff next to an ISP car when I first brought him home, when he turned 6 months and when he turned a year old.  I just love how they turned out!!

Having a German Shepherd has been a learning curve for me but I wouldn’t change it for the world.  I love Thor like crazy and can’t wait to see how all he will change in the next year.  He is smart, beautiful, and protective.  He isn’t much of a people person unless he knows you, unlike Molly who loves everyone.  I love his crazy curly hair that has tamed some as he has gotten older.  He loves to play catch and tug of war.  If I move around the house he wants to stay at my side.  If I sit down and start doing something he gets board and starts to pick on Molly trying to get her to play.  He is still a puppy but in an adult body so at times he is overwhelming to kids and even adults.  He isn’t a fan of dogs that try and act tough around him and if I let him I think he would eat them for lunch.  His bark is deep and loud and at times even makes me jump.  He loves to cuddle but his cuddles quickly turn into body slams.  He loves his crate and sleeps really well through the nights now.  Every pair of my jeans has holes in them near the cuffs of my pants because he loves to grab on to them and tug.  Over all he is a good dog and I love him like crazy!  Here are a few of my favorite pictures of this last year, enjoy!
