On Saturday I was able to go to the Piano Guys
concert!!! I have always loved their music
and play their music frequently in my house and in my car. One of my favorite songs right now is This is
Your Fight Song/Amazing Grace. I think it would be amazing if they had local Police or Fire HG bagpipes play this song with them when they did their concerts!
In case
you have never heard of the Piano Guys they are actually a piano/cello duo. The Pianist is Jon Schmit and the Cellist is
Steven Nelson. Both have amazing talent
and make it look so easy!! They also had Paul Anderson (Producer) and Al van der Beek (music producer/songwriter,
who on a side notes was born in New Zealand and is part Samoan) participates in
a few songs. They all looked like they were having the time of their lives.
The reason they are called
the Piano Guys started when Paul (who owned a piano store at the time) wanted
to try selling pianos by using social marketing with fun videos so they called themselves
The Piano Guys. One thing led to another
and the group was formed. They have been
all over the world and have even played on the Great Wall of China and in Scotland.
It makes me want to start practicing the piano again! Afterwards I meet up my friends Josh and his wife Kelsey. It was really fun to catch up with them, they have been amazing friends I just wish they lived closer!
